My New Kitchen Partner
For those who don’t know me well, I am a cheap mom. I don’t fancy signature brands, may it be clothing, accessories or make-up. I will go for comfort and style rather than tags.
Occasional splurging might be acceptable but most of the time I feel guilty when I swipe too much for an item that I can purchase at a lower cost.
Since the pandemic began, I’ve been cooking a lot. All boys are at home so preparing three meals a day plus snacks is a daily chore. I noticed that some of our pots and pans already have heavy wear and tear. Some of these pots and pans have been with us since our first year in the US.
Mighty and I decided to invest a little on this cooking essentials. We want something that will last for years, easy to clean and suit our cooking needs. After some research, we found this Anolon Advanced Bronze. The material is hard anodized non stick metal.
The set includes:
- 1. 5- and 3-quart Covered Saucepans
- 8-Quart covered stockpot
- 8-inch and 10-inch French skillets
- 12-inch grill pan
- 3-quart Covered sauté
Of course I am excited to give this a try. For our first meal, I cooked beef tacos. The heat is evenly distributed and cooks evenly. It is very easy to clean and scratch free. The handles and lids are easy to grip and can be used in the oven up to 400F.
